Hey everybody! This semester has gone by really quickly! It's kind of insane. Hope everyone's films are going well.

Directors: the films are due WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27th by 4 pm. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. 

Our 2013 Winter Film Fest is coming up soon! Get excited! We've got a new red carpet this semester and everything. The showing starts at 6 pm on December 6th. Come early to get pictures with your cast and crew! 

Awards will be given out after the films have been screened as well. Awards given out include: 
Best Picture 
Best Actor 
Best Actress
Best Screenplay
Best Cinematography
Best Music
Best Editing
Audience Choice

Thanks to everyone who came to yesterday's meeting! It was a ton of fun. We brought filming equipment to show what actually filming a scene was like. We enjoyed acting out everyone's suggestions, and we hope that it was helpful for everyone (or fun, at the very least). The ideas everyone came up with were amazing and hilarious. We're definitely going to have some great films this semester.

REMINDER that casting call is this Friday and Saturday, from 6pm to 9pm in Prince George's Room (Stamp Student Union). Invite everyone you know, and offer to help your director with auditions. You should especially volunteer to help if you are interested in directing one day. 

Come to the Fall 2013 casting call and audition to act in one of our short films! We are producing twelve films this semester, and we need actors! No preparation necessary!

Casting call will take place Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th from 6pm to 9pm in Prince George's Room on the first floor of Stamp (room 1210). Please make sure to have a portion of your script ready for those auditioning.

Thanks to everyone who came out to our summer short film screening! It was a lot of fun. All of the films were really good (and dealt with murder for some reason), so if you'd like to see them they should be on YouTube at some point soon.
